Mrs. Washington, I never met you but I think Larry will remember me. During our childhood, Gary and I were the best of friends. The trouble we got into together was memorable, but surely it was worth it for all the fun we had. He and I grew apart during high school days and I lost track of him. I wish I could have reconnected with him to relive some of the great times we had playing cowboys in the neighborhood. From the photos, it looks like he was a loving husband and great Father, just as I would have expected. I am so sorry for your loss. Gary was a good one and even though it goes way back to my childhood, I feel lucky to have had such a great friend. My very best to you and your family. I will greatly appreciate it if you will please pass on my condolences to Larry.

I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. We only knew each other in high school and for a short period afterward, but I remember him as a vital, powerful presence. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Donna, I was so saddened to hear about Gary's passing from my sister Dale. He meant the world to you and you to him. He is now out of pain and walking the streets of gold in heaven as promised to us. I will pray that God wraps his loving arms around you and walks by your side as you go through saying your final goodbyes Tuesday. God knows exactly what you are going through because he went through it with his own son. God loves you.
