I first met Morris around 1967. He remained a good friend since then. Morris was a gentle and optimistic man,and a true lover of the United States of America.
He will be deeply missed.

To the Family of Morris Hollander: Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. May you take comfort in knowing that Morris was a beacon of humility and inner strength for those who were fortunate enough to know him. May God's love and mercy surround you during this sorrowful time.
Morris and I worked at the same company for many years where I learned a great deal about him and the wonderful life he shared with his beloved wife, Edith. When he shared their experiences at Auschwitz and other concentration camps with me, I was amazed that it didn't damage his positive outlook on life. As a matter of fact, it made him more determined not to let his past decay his future, and it didn't. He was a bright light on a dark day, and possessed a quiet humility and strength that you don't see in too many people. I mourn his loss as well because he had such a gentle and caring spirit that was contagious. Even in my own life, I've tried to capture a little of his quiet strength during my own darkest days.
To Morris: I am a better person today because I had an opportunity to get to know you. Thank you for teaching me about humility and inner strength, and the courage to “roll with the punches”. God has given you the greatest gift anyone could ever hope for—eternal peace and love.
Rest in peace, Morris. You'll certainly be missed…

It is with great sadness that we learned of Morris' passing. He was truly one of the righteous . The world is less bright without him.
