I will always remember how special he made me feel when he greeted me with my only used by him nickname. He was a great role model for how to keep your nieces and nephews close, something not always done in this day, but important. Family was important to him. We must remember that.

Gramps was an amazing man. We are so thankful that our children had the opportunity to share so many family memories with him. Gramps was always busy doing something around the house, on the boats, or at the cottage. It seemed as though he might live forever. He was the family jokester, and always had us laughing. The kids will forever hold onto their dessert, before looking for the squirrel! We miss you so much already Gramps. Forever in our thoughts. Love, Brian, Alison, Dylan & Megan

Dad was the outstanding leader of four generations of our family. He took great pride in teaching the entire family how to restore and display the classic and wooden boats of the family fleet for over 60 years. These boats serve as a fitting legacy to his memory. God bless, we miss you every day already. Love, Bill, Kathy & Oakey
