Alice HELWIG Obituary
February 1, 1919 - March 22, 2016
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Helwig at the George Boyack Care Centre on March 22, 2016 at the age of 97 years. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Ardith (Joe) Grassl of Calgary; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. Alice will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her as well as her many friends at Grace Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband Hugh; her son Milton; and her brothers Elmer and Archie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice's memory may be made directly to Grace Baptist Church (Greater Things), 2670 Radcliffe Drive SE, Calgary, AB, T2A 7M2. Funeral Services will be held at Grace Baptist Church (2670 Radcliffe Drive SE) on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. Esther and bert Gieck

Sincere condolences from Alice's cousins in Edmonton, Bert and Esther Gieck. Bert and Esther are 95 and 96 and they and Alice were the last of their generation. Esther and Alice spoke on the phone every week and Esther missed their call last week.
