Brian GLADSTONE Obituary

Published by Calgary Herald from Sep. 26 to Sep. 30, 2016.
GLADSTONE, Brian Ian
February 27, 1984 – Red Deer, Alberta
September 22, 2016 – Cochrane, Alberta
With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved son, brother, boyfriend and friend who passed away suddenly at the age of 32. Born in Red Deer but living most of his life in Calgary, Brian seized every opportunity to live life to its fullest. Loyally employed with Precision Drilling for over 10 years, Brian had a knack for working with his hands. In his off time, he enjoyed many leisure activities; he was an avid snowboarder, played hockey in the winter and enjoyed biking and hiking in the spring and summer months. His family, his girlfriend and his friends were very important to him and there was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with them at the family cabin in BC. He is survived by his Mom Laurel, Dad Roger, Sister Brenda and husband Mark (Avery and Spencer), Granny Sheila, his girlfriend Angelica, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He will forever be remembered as the kind-hearted and caring young man who always made people laugh and who provided solace in times of despair. A celebration of Brian's life is to be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Brian would have preferred no formal attire please. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of gifts, donations can be made to the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110th Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2C 2T7, Telephone: (403)205-4455, www.calgaryhumane.ca.
