Margaret Horman Obituary

Margaret E. Horman, 85, of Union Bridge, died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born Sept. 16, 1926, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Isabel Rodruck Nusz. She was the wife of Harold W. Horman Sr., her husband of 64 years, whom she married Sept. 6, 1947.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, flower gardens, bird watching and reading, particularly fictional mystery novels. She also enjoyed cats.
Surviving are children Harold W. "Bill" Horman Jr. and wife Cheryl, of Hagerstown, Michael Horman and wife Sue, of Woodsboro, Steve P. Horman and wife Annette, of Taneytown, and Terri Horman, of Union Bridge; grandchildren Chris Lord, Corey Horman, Victoria Horman, Charlotte Davis, Michael J. Horman, Steve W. Horman, and Mark Smith; great-grandchildren Chloe, Evan, Garrett, Gabrielle, Cody, Tenley, Landon, Bailey, and Hunter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters Ruth Stockman and Evelyn Nusz.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. James S. Flora officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
