Thanks, family and friends, for your thoughts. We miss Mom so much...and we know she touched many others in ways unique to each relationship. Warmest regards from Ruthie, Steven, Gretchen and Melissa.

Our deepest sympathies from the Shawley family. I remember how fond our mother, Mim Shawley, was of your mom as they had been friends since they were young girls. I remember visiting her when she was at Brookline, with my mother, and Ruth was still a charming, compassionate lady and so vibrant and very active for her age. I have very fond memories of you, Ruthie & Steve, visiting us at the farm in Waddle when we were all just kids. Goodness, that had to have been 60 plus years ago...hard to believe. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this difficult time.

Our sincere and deepest sympathy to all of Ruth's family. Ruth has been a special part of our family and will forever be in our hearts. Her endless friendship with our father and grandfather, George Fleming, was deeply appreciated. Memories of our happy times with Ruth will always be treasured.

I worked at Brookline for many years and admired Ruth's fortitude; I was proud to call her my friend. She was a great example for all of us.

I want you to know how much I enjoyed your mother while working at Mand T Bank which was previously located in the Inn. She was so positive and had such a beautiful smile along with such a pleasant personality. I can honestly say she was one of my "favorites"! I wish your family peace and know she was happy and always talked about her wonderful life. Take care...
