Jeannie was the person who inspired me to go to college. She and Linda S. were going to Ames, IA for a weekend visit/tour. They invited me along. I knew nothing about applying to college or about college life. Jeannie was mature and made me feel I could do it!! Jeannie had a warm heart and was extremely talented, yet she was sweet and humble. My thoughts are with you. Such a loss. I'm sorry.

I have very fond memories of Jeannie...many good times with her playing bridge, in the Ozarks and visiting in Florida. Am very, very sad to hear about this. She was a wonderful person and will be missed. Will always remember her smile and her generosity. Condolences to all.

When I think of Jeannie I think of 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13. Although this is usually read at weddings, I think it is an excellent description of Jeannie..."Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps not record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevered." Jeannie was loved by many and showed love to all.

Jeannie was a kind and intelligent lady with whom I had the pleasure of working back in the 90's. I am sad to hear of her passing.
