Shirley A. Ridgeway; beloved wife of the late Daniel W.; loving mother of Joanne R. (Rodney) Judge, Thomas B. (Dee) and David W. (Leslie) Ridgeway; devoted grandmother of John D. (Heidi), Thomas B. Jr. (Liz), Robert A. and Joshua M; great-grandmother of Wyatt and Charlie; fond sister-in-law of Glenda (Hammond) White and James (Mary Ann) Ridgeway; also, aunt and friend of many. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. There will be an Eastern Star Service and Memory Sharing at 11:30 a.m. Graveside inurnment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Aunt Shirley was a wonderful woman. She was always so kind and caring. Some of my happiest memories as a child were when my dad and I would stop by her house after my piano lessons since she lived right near there. She always had little trinkets and things for me to take back home. She will be missed so much.

Dan and I are so sorry for your loss. Shirley was such a wonderful and caring woman! While we grieve with you, we are also so joyful in the knowledge that she is released from the restraints of her health issues and is free once again to look after everybody, because that is what she always did best!
