My Sweet Precious Paula,

You know how much I love you; you have been such a true and faithful friend. I know the immense pain you are feeling and sadly it never leaves us; but as years go by, the pain will lessen. How blessed you have been by having the parent's that God hand picked out especially for you. I know that you have been a good, loving and faithful daughter to your parents. The love and pride you have for them is easy to see in your eyes, as you share anything regarding them. As I told you, I have asked God to allow me to help carry your pain; the pain I know so well. Believe me when I tell you that I will never forget the fact that you have been a constant source of strength during my losses. I will always remember how faithful you have been by attending Steve's, Mom's and Dad's funerals. Paula, I have prayed a special blessing for you. Knowing that you too are a Child of God; I have asked that He show favor over you as you mourn the loss of your Beloved Father. I also ask God to release His Holy Spirit to comfort you and that His Angels surround you; wherever you may be.

A friend till the end;

Pam

Ward, Steve, Pam and family. I was sorry to read of the passsing of your dad. I used to visit with him periodically at the Coyote Canyon. He was always friendly and seemed to enjoy our short conversations. I hope your mother does well and each of you are sustained by nice memories of him.

Mrs. Downey, Pam, Ward, Paula, Steve and families;
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Such an immense loss is hard to verbalize and truly express one to another. Mr. Downey was always pleasant to be around as was Mrs. Downey. My prayer for you and your families is that your memories will be sweet and comforting. To have had him here on earth so long, does not ease the pain; but has been a gift from God. I also pray that each of you can find peace, a sense of calm and understanding, knowing that each of us will also be carried to Heaven by God's Angels when we are called Home. I have always had such respect and love for the Downey family; most especially Paula. The journey we call grief is often times walked alone and it feels unbearable; but by the Grace of God we carry on. Asking God and His Angels to be ever bountiful around each and every one of you; and I ask God that he holds each of you tenderly in His Loving Arms, as you mourn such a life changing loss. The pain will never leave you, just as the memories you have close to your hearts shall remain. But; God promises us that there is peace which passes all understanding in your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Sincerely and with love,

Pamela Crowder-Montez
