Jerry McCumber Obituary

Jerry Dean McCumber, 64, of Hinesville and Reidsville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, at the Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville.
The Reidsville native had lived in Tattnall County many years, before moving to Hinesville in 1991. He was the owner of Circle M Construction Company. Jerry Dean loved spending time with his grandchildren, NASCAR racing and fishing.
He was always lending a helping hand. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Walthourville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Annie McCumber; siblings, Robert, LR, Thomas Eldred McCumber and Louise Durrence.
He is survived by his wife, Pam McCumber of Hinesville; children, Kelly McCumber, Shelly Watts and Jeremy McCumber, all of Reidsville; stepchildren, Robert Perry and Jaclyn Collum, both of Hinesville; brothers, Walker McCumber of Savannah, Henry McCumber of Vidalia, Ralph McCumber of Ellabell and Edwen McCumber of Lyons; sisters, Faye Wilson and Frances Thompson, both of Savannah, Nell Yeomans and Vickie Fanning, both of Reidsville; grandchildren, Logan McCumber, Andrya Perry, Brandon Collum, Cassidy Collum, Parker Cox, Dominick Collum, Lane Watts, Pacey Watts, and Isabella McCumber; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, from Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory in Reidsville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, from the chapel of the funeral home with speaker Ben Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wayne McCumber, Shannon McCumber, Ashley Fanning, Reggie Fanning, Ricky Willis and Scott Collum.
