John Chavies

ELIZABETH CITY - Mr. John Chavies of 639 Crooked Run Road, Elizabeth City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence.

Celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, May 18 at 1:00pm at New Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church in Gates, NC . Viewing will take place on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Family will receive friends at 637 Crooked Run Rd.

Mr. Chavies leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Joyce Chavies; two daughters, Kentra Elaine Chavies and Krystal Shanetta Chavies all of Elizabeth City, NC; three sisters, Phyllis Chavies, Janet Chavies Jones(King) and Eva Chavies; two brothers, Wendell Chavies and Calvin Chavies; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
