PIQUA — Ethel O. Pry, 80, of Piqua, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at 9:05 a.m. at Piqua Manor Nursing Home, Piqua. She was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Piqua, OH, to the late Gerald and Dorothy (Samson) Reeder. She married the late William H. Pry on July 21, 1954, in Pleasant Hill, OH.
Ethel is survived by three children: Kimberly and Raymond Knife, Troy, OH, William J. Pry and Debra Parson, Port Jefferson, OH, Lori and Rodney McElfresh, Piqua, OH; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas and Faye Reeder, Seabring, FL, Noel Reeder, Piqua, OH, Jeffrey and Peggy Reeder, Sidney, OH; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen and Stanley Ganger, Troy, OH, Carol and Gene Kissinger, Piqua, OH; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Ethel was a member of Greene St. United Methodist Church, Piqua. She was an avid bingo player and she also enjoyed fishing. She worked for Medalist Allen-A in Piqua for 16 years.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua with the Chaplain Candy Null officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
