Bobbie Hurt Obituary

Funeral service for Bobbie P. Hurt, 79, will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Hollins Church of Christ with the Bro. Roy Johnson and Rev. Mark Deason officiating. Mrs. Hurt will lie in state at the Church one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. Burial will be in Hollins Cemetery in Hollins, AL. Mrs. Hurt died Monday, February 2, 2015 at Brown Nursing Home in Alexander City, AL. She was preceded in death by her brother, William (Bill) Pate. She was a member of Hollins Church of Christ where she taught Bible school for 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Bryan Hurt of Hollins; sons, David B. Hurt, wife Rhonda of Rockford, and George E. Hurt, wife Fern of Hollins; daughter, Brenda H. Johnson, husband Roy of Hollins; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com. Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
