Eric Eaton Obituary
He was born Sept. 25, 1942, to the late James N. and Levisa F. Eaton in Hobson, Va.
He retired from Northrop Grumman in July 2005 after 31 years of service. Eric was a avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce Eaton; two daughters, Tina Parham and Terry Gatling (Willie Jr.); two sons, Tracy Eaton (Janice ) and Tyrone Sr. (Erica); grandchildren, Erica, Emerald, Topaz, Tyrone Jr. and Willie III; his siblings, Gene Eaton (Corrine) Elder Michael Eaton (Sharon), Dwight Eaton (Pam), Rodney Eaton (Diane), Wadine Key, Doris Eaton, Versa Willett (Ben); three aunts, one uncle, four sisters-in-law, and three brothers-in- law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th St., Newport News, VA 23607. A homegoing service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Mt. Lebanon Church of God in Christ, 1732 Lebanon Avenue, Suffolk, VA 23436. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
