Pamela Green was my very best friend and I miss her dearly. She was a very genuine person always willing to help others with whatever needs they requested. Pam was a person who never complained with her illness or ask, "God why me". She took lemons and always made lemonaide. I know she is resting in the arms of her master shouting, "GLOWREE". Tony, Alana, and Adriana, my heart goes out to you in loosing such a caring and loving wife and mother. May God continue to give you strength and guidance in your road ahead.

I knew Ms. Pam because she and her family were patients at the dentist office of Lorenzo Modeste. I'm the receptionist and I remember making appointments for Pam and her family. She was a lovely woman and I just wanted to leave my condolences to her family. God Bless.

I knew Pam back when I was her daughter, Adriana's Girl Scout leader. She was such a wonderful lady. I just found out about this today when my daughter told me. To Adriana and Alana, Ms. Lissa thinks about you two often and now, I hold you in my hearts even more so. I am so sorry to the family for the loss of such a beautiful person!

I met Pam when my husband and I were in the Technology Education program at Norfolk State University. She was the only female Technology Education teacher I knew of in the area and she took the time to help and inspire me to strive for the excellence and professionalism that she displayed. I loved laughing with her at TSA, VTEA and ITEA conferences. She was always at TSA events with her students and her girls. Her example helped me to become the Techology Teacher that I am today. She was an excellent teacher, person and friend!

Dear Green Family,

Pam was a true friend who will truly be missed. She was a true education professional. She was a great mentor for new teachers, and I know as much as she talked about her family she was a devoted mother and wife. May God comfort, bless, and protect you during these times of sorrow. In deepest sympathy.

I only knew Pam for a short period while living in Virginia, but will always remember her asking me to do some sewing for her girls, and could she get just a pinch of my cornbread and greens.

I too will miss Pam as will the entire VTEA Board of Directors.

To Anthony and the entire Green family,
My heart is truely saddened by this news. I had the please to teach Pam while she attended Norfolk State University as a Technology Education major. She was indeed one of my most memorable students. Pam is a fine Spartan! May God bless you and give you strength in this time of sorrow. Pam loved her family and spoke highly of all of you and her church family. She is truely an angel in heaven....Dr. Carray Banks, Jr.( Norfolk State University)

I find it hard to believe that Pam is no longer with us. Although she left Houston many years ago, we could always count on seeing her, and visiting with the family whenever she returned to see her mother and sister. Who knew that her return last spring to attend her mother's funeral would be the last time? My earliest memory of Pam is that of the 3 year old who moved into the house across the street back in 1963. Birthday parties, family events, holiday celebrations, and her high school graduation also stand out. Then she moved to Virginia, got married, and had two daughters. Pam's technical expertise was a great help in preparing a photo tribute for the 90th birthday celebration for my oldest aunt, Mrs. Clarice Ellis of San Antonio, Texas.
My sincerest condolences to Anthony, Adriana, Alana, and especially Gina.
Surely it is a comfort to know that she is safe in Jesus' loving arms.
We will miss her visits to the old Sorsby-Akard neighborhood, but will remember "Pam" fondly.

God's been just that good!!!!!! Even in times of pain and times of sorrow, Pam would always remember that God has been good to her. Although my heart is heavy, my soul rejoices in knowing that Pam transitioned to eternal rest with Jesus. I can still hear her saying "Hey Kimmy" and me responding "Hey Pammy". I thank God for allowing our lives to cross and for the friendship that we shared. I thank Pam for cultivating the bond between the girls and myself so much that they think of me as Aunt Kim. God is just that good!!!!
May the God of all comfort keep you Anthony, Adriana, Alana and the entire family as you walk through this difficult time. Be encouraged and know that you are not alone. Much love to you all.

Words cannot express what I am feeling right now. My heart is heavy, but I know Pam is in a better place. I have been knowing Pam since the 1960's. We all used to play outside together. Pam was the tomboy of the girls and used to play football with my brother and the other boys. I have nothing but fond memories of our childhood together. Even though she moved away, she always came back to Houston to visit. She always remained in good spirits despite her illness. I last saw Pam in May when her mother passed away. She is in heaven with her mother and father. My prayers go out to her husband, daughters and especially Gina.
