Allen Leo Hagee Allen Leo Hagee, 66, of Charlottesville, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Mr. Hagee was born March 16, 1943 in Sun, West Virginia. He was a loving and devoted Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Elsie Hagee; his wife, Barbara Fisher Hagee; and a grandson, Jamie Roberts. He is survived by three daughters, Felicia Hagee of Scottsville, Tonia Hagee of Pueblo, Colorado, and Debbie Roberts and her husband, Bill, of Palmyra; one sister, Charlotte Wingfield and her husband, Russell, of Charlottesville; three brothers, Jordan Hagee and his wife, Joyce, of Schuyler, Roger Hagee and his wife, Kathleen, of Charlottesville, and Nathan Hagee of Charlottesville; two nieces that were like sisters, Rose Snyder and her husband, Richard, of Troy, and Cindy Jarratt and her husband, Richard, of Charlottesville; two grandchildren, Kristen Hagee and Dustin Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews; a very special great-niece, Miranda Jarratt; and his ex-wife, Shirley Hagee. This family would like to recognize some very special friends and say thank you for everything that you did for Leo; there are not words to describe how much your friendship meant to Leo. There extraordinary people are Carroll Shifflett, Lisa Hoy, John Collins, Kimberly Lively and Faye Cash. All of you held a very special place in Leo's heart. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Joseph May, Dr. Christopher Zazakos and the Hospice of the Piedmont. Leo was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Eagles, the VFW, and the Moose Lodge. He loved to shoot pool and was known to be one of the best shooters in Charlottesville. He also loved hunting, fishing and playing Bingo. He also spent a lot of his time being a Designated Driver. He enjoyed hanging out at Riverside Restaurant and Two Sides. Leo touched many people in a special way and had many friends. He will always have a special place in our hearts and will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 7 p.m. After the service, a gathering will be held for family and friends at the home of his sister, 2411 Commonwealth Drive, Charlottesville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.

My heart aches for the pain of the family through this tough time however Leo (AKA: My boyfriend... lol) was a very strong and wonderful person who always put a smile on your face no matter what mood you were in. So sorry to hear about Leo. My thoughts and prayers are with you through your time of need. Leo was a wonderful, funny, loving individual. He will be greatly missed. I will always remember our fun times together at bingo, camping, playing pool.
