Bertha Khoury Grubb

Bertha Khoury Grubb, 72, of Charlottesville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2010, in McLean, Virginia.

She was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and was the wife of surviving husband Marvin Grubb. She is also survived by her two sisters, Marie and Odette Khoury; her brother, Elie Khoury; her stepsons, John, Chris and Paul Grubb; and her stepdaughter, Janet Wyant.

She worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at University of Virginia Medical Center for over 25 years. She will be deeply missed by her immediate family and friends in the United States, in Canada, and in Lebanon.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2010, at Monticello Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3025 Berkmar Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901 or to St Jude's Children Hospital, 3812 North Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105.

Situ will be missed greatly by us. We will miss her laugh and her funny sayings. I am glad she is free from Alzheimers' hold and I'm sure she is waiting patiently to see her Marvin again. We love you Situ.....
