Lyndsie Nicole Grubb, age 36, of Johnstown, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 10:43 a.m. at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Lyndsie was born on September 24, 1989, in Westerville, Ohio, to Diann L. and the late Donald M. Woosley. She was a 2008 graduate of Northridge High School and worked as an Insurance Agent at State Farm for more than eight years. Lyndsie attended the Church of the Ascension in Johnstown. On September 5, 2020, she married her husband, Cliff Grubb, and they were blessed with the birth of their son, Hoyt in 2022.
Growing up, Lyndsie was active in FFA and 4-H, showing projects like pigs, sheep, and cattle, alongside her work in sewing and cooking. This fostered her lifelong passion for cooking, and her family always cherished her new recipes and dishes at family dinners.
Lyndsie is survived by her loving husband, Cliff, and their son, Hoyt; her mother, Diann; her brother, David (Jesse) Woosley; and her sister, Shannon Leigh Woosley, and her fiancé Jeffrey Alan Whatmough, and their son, Emmett Reed Whatmough. She is also survived by her grandparents, Floy and Janet Rose, and Jerri Grubb, Joe and Debbie Sheldon; her father and mother-in-law, Spencer and Debbie Sheldon; her sister-in-law, Rachel (Bryan) Barker, and her nieces and nephews, Tillie, Luca, and Sheldon. Additionally, she is survived by several aunts and uncles, her close cousin (whom she regarded as a brother), John (Lydia) Thomas, and her special Black Labrador Retriever, Oakleigh Ann.
Lyndsie was preceded in death by her father, Donald M. Woosley, and her grandparents, Richard and Jane Woosley and Jesse and Joan Sandy.
Friends may call on the family at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20, 2005 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy, officiated by the Rev. Fr. P.J. Brandimarti, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel, 637 N. State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio. Burial will follow the service at Croton Cemetery in Hartford Township. The family wishes to extend an invitation following the graveside committal service, for a meal at the Hartford County Fairgrounds in the Babcock Building.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made directly to Cliff Grubb to assist with future college expenses for their son, Hoyt.
The Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel is honored to serve the Grubb Family at their time of need.
