Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel on Nov. 21, 2025.
Toni Leanne (Merdeath) Pasch, 54, passed on November 14, 2025 from this life and onto heaven where she is at last free of struggles, full of energy and shining in the presence of Jesus. She was born on December 20,1970 to her cherished parents, Dewey and Cathy Merdeath. She grew up in
Sunbury, Ohio with her three siblings in a home that her parents ensured had stability, Christian values, family dinners/vacations and much love. Her spirited and determined nature as a child, often met with a "no", earned her the affectionate nickname "Noey".
Toni graduated from Big Walnut High School in 1989, later pursuing her passion for beauty and style as a top hair designer at Charles Penzone Hair Salon. She had a knack for decorating and was an incredible hostess. Her gatherings were legendary whether it was at her home or on the many family boating trips every weekend - filled with friends, family, laughter, delicious food, and a touch of her impeccable flair. She constantly filled the room with humor always telling a story in the most animated over-the-top way she could. She loved word puzzles, murder mystery shows, shopping, nature, and as every friend or family member knows, the joy of conversation! In recent years Toni was deeply faithful, keeping personal devotions and prayers at the heart of her daily routine often sending sermons and inspirational songs to her family.
Toni's dream of becoming a mother came true when she had her daughter Avery Michelle Pasch. She loved every step of Avery's childhood and was proud of the strong woman she had raised.
Toni was a cherished daughter to William Dewey Merdeath (Penny) and a beloved sister to Deeca Dunham (Tom), Bill Merdeath (Laura) and Bambi Hanawalt (Chip). She was a caring aunt to her nieces and nephews Haley, Macy, Chip, Tripp, Tanner and
Joshua. She was loved by her aunts, uncles and cousins. She had lifelong friends from childhood, high school and boating, that will always cherish the stories and good times they shared with her.
Toni was welcomed into heaven by her beloved mother, Cathy Jean Merdeath. Toni is leaving behind memories and stories to tell that will continue to warm hearts and make us laugh for years to come. Though we have incredible sadness of her loss, we
are grateful for the joy she brought into our lives.
