Sally Ann Kayser

Sally Ann Kayser, age 85, of Westerville, Ohio passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 16, 2025. She was born on November 1, 1940, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Charles Barbee and Opal (Lewis) Barbee.
Sally married Vernon G. Kayser on October 7, 1961. Together they shared 64 wonderful years of marriage.
Sally worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Alliance Data Services where she formed lasting connections and friendships. She was a former Harlem Township Trustee in the mid-80's and well respected by her community. Sally was an advocate for those who faced challenges with personal disabilities, including her daughter LeAnn. She loved her family and would do anything to help and protect them.
Sally liked gardening and enjoyed traveling. She loved singing, dancing and shopping. Sally's proudest achievement was her family and being a fantastic grandma and great-grandma. She was sweet, kind, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Sally was a very special lady who will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who were blessed to know her.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Vernon; daughters, LeAnn Kayser and Jennifer (Brian) McClary; grandchildren, Amber (Kevin) Mohr, Ashley (Shiloh) Stephens, and Madison (Dillon) Hawthorne; great-grandchildren, Gannon, Everett, Brekken, Emory, and Emerson; sister, Candy Barbee; and lifelong friend, Marilyn Newsome.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Opal Barbee; her son, Joseph Kayser; sisters, Nancy Rucker and Sue Whittaker.
Friends may call Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Mike Hannah officiating. Graveside services will follow at Fancher Cemetery, Harlem Township, Westerville, Ohio.
