Beverly Toney Obituary
Beverly Allen Toney, 94, of New Canton, Virginia, died at his home on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Melvin L. Toney; four sons, Beverly Jr. and his wife, Edmonia, of New Canton, Virginia, Robert and his wife, Christine, of Temple Hills, Maryland, Lawrence and his wife, Dorothy, of Dillwyn, Virginia, Freddie and his wife, Dorothy, of Accokeek, Maryland; four daughters, Marie Lee and her husband, Curtis, and Flora Duncan and her husband, Howard, of Fort Washington, Maryland, Frances Bowman and her husband, James, of Waldorf, Maryland, and Lavern Toney of Clinton, Maryland; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a host of other family and friends.
Viewing was held from 9:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010, at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2010.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Baptist Union Church in Dillwyn, Virginia, with the Minister Mary Alice Eldridge officiating.
Professional services entrusted to Thomasson Fork Union Chapel.
