Dennis Corbin Obituary
Dennis L. Corbin
Dennis Levi Corbin, 76, of Fork Union, died on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at Envoy Village.
He was born on September 11, 1933, the son of the late Dennis Corbin and Monie Nicholson Corbin.
Dennis was a retired mehanic from R. M. Davis after 20 years of service and then worked at Walker's Exxon as a mechanic. He was a devoted member of First Christian Church. He loved playing bingo, fishing, and talking on Citizen Band Radio.
Surviving him are his wife, Joyce M. Corbin of Charlottesville; a daughter, Cynthia Fox and her husband, Arnold, of Troy; three sons, Durwin Corbin and his wife, Jane, of Fork Union, Levi Corbin Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Culpeper, and Roger Wayne Corbin of Springfield, Maryland; a granddaughter, Sarah Moore of Mechanicsville; three grandsons, Stephen James Brown of Barboursville, Jeremy Paul Brown of Barboursville, and Tyler Austin Brown of Barboursville; and two sisters, Virgie A. Wince of Flint Hill and Myrtle F. Corbin of Flint Hill.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009, at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff Villio officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009, at the funeral home.
The family suggests that any desired memorial contributions be made to First Christian Church, 1032 Linden Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

sorry to hear of your loss my mother died in 2001 she thought a lot of dennis grace (skippy ) Lamb I'll always rember him coming to visit us and how sweet him and joyce were.
