Exie Clesetine Life

Exie Clesetine Life, 86, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009, at her residence.

She was born in Rockingham County on December 10, 1922, a daughter of the late Hilbert and Ruby Blankenship Fry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Thomas Life, in 1992, after years of marriage.

Mrs. Life was a homemaker, had recently attended Harrisonburg Baptist Church, and was a member of the Spotswood Garden Club. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Mae Henderson and her husband, Gary, of Stuarts Draft; two grandchildren, Laurie S. Biser and her husband, Joshua, of Stuarts Draft and Christie S. Horn and her husband, Jay, of Weyers Cave; three great- grandchildren, Sarah Kay Biser, Brandon P. Horn and Jacob R. Horn; two sisters, Clara Colvin of Wolftown and Annie Eddins of Harrisonburg; one niece, two nephews and three great nieces.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville with the Reverend Robert Life officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
