Inez Breslich Obituary

Published by Daily Progress from Sep. 25 to Oct. 3, 2010.
Inez Kendrick Breslich

Inez Kendrik Breslich, born November 2, 1908, died peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2010, at the Colonnades Health Care Center.

Her husband, Herman Hans Breslich, predeceased her on January 3, 2001. They were both in residence at that time at the Colonnades.

Inez is survived by her nephew, Richard K. Koepping, and his wife, Betsy; and a niece, Marilyn Patterson and her husband, Pat, all presently residing in Naples, Florida.

Inez, a long time resident in Charlottesville, is remembered particularly for her love of music and her especially skillful mastery of the piano, which she enjoyed playing even within recent weeks.

Her family and friends are most grateful to the wonderful staff at the Colonnades for their loving care of Inez over these past ten years. We are also very pleased to know that her piano will remain at the Colonnades for all the residents, staff, and friends to enjoy for years to come.

For many years, Inez was active with her beloved Wednesday Music Club where she was recently recognized as an honorary member. She will be sorely missed by her many friends.

At Inez's request there are no memorial services planned. Burial will be private in Pittsfield, Illinois.

She would be pleased if memorial contributions were directed to the Wednesday Music Club, Post Office Box 7642, Charlottesville, Virginia 22906, designed for the Herman and Inez Breslich Music Fund.
