I am from a Pace Family in Fluvanna Co.
and have been researching The surname
Pace family for about 10 years.
My grgrandfather was John R.Pace b 1809
grandfather-Jno.Walker Pace b. 1843
mother-Vera Walker Pace b. 1893
Thru the DNA testing of the Pace Society, to which I belong it has
been found that my ancestors are
descended from John Pace of
Middlesex County,Va and then back
to England.
I am sorry to hear of the death of
Mr.Pace. His obituary was sent to
me by another member of the Pace
family in Charlottesville.
If Mr.Pace has any connection to
any of my family or would like
to send details of his ancestry,
I would be happy to pass it on
to the Pace Society if they are
not members. I also belong to
the Fluvanna Historical Society.
My Sincere condolences to your family

trissy as i think at all the times spent with your dad the one that comes to mind is the time we went on trip to covington to dump a load of wood chips in his big truck. coming back we left the empty trailer at zions crossroads and he let me drive it back through palmyra, lol when we got about to the courthouse i couldn't find the brake pedal to slow down for the curve and he of course calmly helped me while laughing at the same time. he was always good to me as if i were part of the family. i will surely miss hearing reports of him when i visit kents store again. oh i know where the pedal is now. would love to hear from you. may god bless you.

Trissy and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. When I think of him, all I can see is that kind smile. In the past few days, my mother Barbara has shared wonderful stories of your father and his siblings when they were all young.

May God bless you and may love surround you at this difficult time. Please let me know if there is anything at all I can do for you. You and your family will remain in my prayers.

To the Entire Pace Family,
I was so saddened by Jimmy's passing. Having been a part of the Pace family many years ago, I know how much he meant to you all and I want you all to know how much it meant to me to be able to continue a friendship with him and the family. I have and will always continue to give Jimmy a special place in my heart. I only hope that God had granted him the peace he so richly deserves and that you all find comfort in each other. If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to call upon me. Love to you all.
