James Miles Obituary
James "Jimmy" Lester Miles of Faber, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Jimmy, as he was affectionately known as, was born on March 8, 1952, to the late Goffrey Miles and Louisa M. Carrington Miles.
Those left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Talecia Morton of Woodbridge, Virginia; a son, James Miles of Faber, Virginia; brother, Goffrey Miles and his wife, Helen; four sisters, Helen Lee of Richmond, Virginia, Pauline Page and her husband, Herbert, of Faber, Virginia, Eula Johnson and her husband, Curtis, of Trenton, New Jersey, and Elizabeth Mickens and her husband, Calvin, of Petersburg, Virginia; a brother-in-law, George White of Camden, New Jersey; a special niece, Angela Jones of Faber, Virginia; a special nurse, Monique Rogers of Charlottesville Rehab; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Locust Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend Ernie Morse officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
James will lie in state at Locust Grove Baptist Church one hour prior to the funeral service.
