You are still on my mind, in my heart and missed. Wish you were here. Especially now, when times are just too crazy. A million miles away and I miss you so. Rest my dear friend.

A year has come and gone since you went home. You are still missed by many and loved by more. Wish you were here to share the holidays with us. Although you are resting well with you family in heaven, your friends and family here miss you so. The sound of your laughter, the sparkling of those bright beautiful eyes and the chatter of your conversations are no longer with us, but you my long time friend will remain in my memories and heart forever. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Jan.

Hi Jan,

Sorry I missed your birthday but I was told the site was down. It is Spring and Easter here. The colors of the season are pretty but not as pretty as if they could be if you were here. I guess your departure have taught us all a lesson: Are we living or are we just existing? I miss not sending you cards for your birthdays and the holidays. You are always on my mind. It is going to take some time to get use to not hearing your voice, but if this is another chance for us to hold all on to the good memories close to us.
It is Palm Sunday 2010 and I am remembering the train trip I made from Bradenton to Washington, DC to visit my buddy. In the process of the visit we went into the city to copy right my book and I had to ask you “where are we?” We will not discuss the results of that conversation. It was the first time I viewed a Harry Potter movie. I hope you know how many great memories you have left behind. I hope you know how many love ones who will chose to dance rather than set it out. I hope you know how many of us because of you will live rather than exist. Last month I stood by the ocean and remembered how small I am and how along we can be at one quick more. Janny Jan I hope you are dancing among the heavenly flowers and once again living among the angels. Do not let us stay here existing and not living, but loving all the good memories of you, dancing and existing as we go through our lives not letting you down. Dance, I hope you dance, for all of us left behind, remembering you at the season of Spring, colors and Easter. We miss you and love you so much. Loving you always; my biggest; brightest; and most delightful friend, God bless you and sleep well.

As March came upon us and the snow melted, it seems odd that our Jan will not be here to enjoy spring. Rick has been through a difficult time, but knows she is in God's hands and has happily joined her family, which offers great comfort.
We love and miss you Janny Jan!

When I think of when I first met you working @ Kettermans to present day the qualities you showed then stayed with you to the end. I will miss you Jan. When I look up at the sky I will see those beautiful blue eyes watching over all of us.

Jan and I were best friends when I lived on Holmes Dr in the 1960's and I treasure those memories of those years. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Jan and I grew up around the corner from each other in Vienna. I had not seen her or talked to her in a few years. I was close to Moxey and Ramona growing up and it's hard to believe that they are all gone. Goodbye to my old friend. I will miss you! Jan Blank Clarke

I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to Jan's family and friends. Jan and I were "the two Jans" in the L&D section at VDOT. Our birthdays were close together, we were both Beatles fans and we loved our pets too much. We worked together during her experimental treatments. I know how much the deaths of her immediate family members affected her and it is comforting to believe that she is now reunited. She will be missed.

On that awful news morning, December 20, 2009, my brain automatically went into video mode of all the good memories. Although it had snowed for two days, the sun came out and Jan went home. And as I sit here on Christmas morning writing this, and my heart is breaking to know I will never hear her voice, see those bright eyes light up, get to hug my buddy again, there are no more road trips and I will never hear “Hey girlfriend…” on my phone or voice mail. Jan will be so missed by me but I hope she is warm, happy and at peace now. May the angels above take real good care of her, and I hope that we will meet again. I love/loved her and I will miss “My Buddy”.

Rick I am so sorry for your lost just as you two came back into each other lives. It was too short. She was happy and Rick, always remember that. I believe she was finally in love. You made her happy and she said it was an unconditional love. With you, she felt free to be Jan.
