He was born on January 24, 1950 in Jamestown, Tennessee, the son of Porter and Neva N. (Kennedy) Piercy. Clayton married Nancy A. Melton on November 26, 1990 in Muncie.
He enjoyed listening to music, especially with his sister, Mary.
Surviving are one sister, Mary Keesling (husband, Brian) of Albany; his daughter, Della Morris of Arlington, TX; one step-daughter, Dawn M. Skinner of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
Clayton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 30 years, Nancy A. Piercy on October 27, 2020; two brothers, Ronnie and Arthur; and three sisters, Leatha, Juanita and Leotta.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date and cremation will take place.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.meeksmortuary.com.
