Dear Thurston family,
I am saddened to have recently learn of Jean's illness and now her passing. Jean was a classmate at Lane High School and she is very fondly remembered. My heart goes out to you all, and you are in my prayers. God be with you to comfort you during this difficult time.

Miles and Family - I think of Jean's smile. Jean's Lane classmates will be saddened to hear. She looked the same when I saw her in Giant as she did 45 years ago. Know my thoughts are with you and your family.

Miles,
My condolenses and sympathy go out to you and your family. As you may remember, Jean and I grew up next to each other on Westwood Road. I still have fond memories of our younger years growing up in Charlottesville. I don't get to visit my old friends in C'ville as much as I want but our lives were bettered by having someone like Jean and her family in them. Stay strong and remember all of the good times.
Your OLD friend,
