Jesse and I went to Henley Junior School together in Crozet. We even both had a crush on the same girl. Jesse was such a nice guy, I used to think he was too nice a guy to be so big and mature for his age. I would bump into Jesse over the years as our paths would cross and I could see he never changed from the nice guy I knew in Junior High School. I'm so sorry he got sick and passed away too early in life. It must be true what they say " only the good die young" because Jesse was one of the good ones. My sympathies go out to his family and friends as I'm sure he will be missed.

I'll miss you, Jesse. Crozet has lost a piece of itself; a better man you would be hard pressed to find. You were my first acquaintance upon moving to Crozet, 15 years ago, and our time together sharing smiles and laughs will never, ever be forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend. Mark Hall

It seems that Crozet has lost one of its own. Jesse was a very kind and caring man and to have this many people signing the Guest Book is a testament to how many people thought so much of him. He will be sorely missed by many. Rest in peace Sweet Jesse.

Jesse was a wonderful man. He was always ready to help anyone that came into the store. Jesse loved to talk as he worked, but it never seemed to bother anyone who was waiting in line, because they knew they would get their turn to talk to him too. He will be greatly missed in Crozet, especially at the Great Value Store.

Dear Family,
I am saddened by this news. Jessee was a native of Crozet like myself, and it was always a pleasure to see a familiar face, share our news, and during his illness, I was encouraged by how determined he was to work, and be around those he cared about.
I will not forget his caring, gentle smile.
May the Lord give you comfort during this time.
