We are sorry to learn of "Aunt Lola" passing. She was always so sweet and nice to me as a child growing up across the street from her.Her help with Tom at the selective service board was greatly appreciated.

You gave much love to my grandfather, myself and my children. I'm grateful you were part of our lives. Our drop in visits always seemed to brighten your day. You always had a welcoming smile and usually candy! By now you're experiencing what we left behind can only image. The beauty and love of our Lord and Savior. I'll meet you again one day.

We will greatly miss "Aunt Lola", the sweetest lady to ever grace Charlottesville. She ran the Charlottesville office of the selective service from the time it openen until the time it closed. As she processed the paperwork for each draftee she prayed for them to make it home alive. She was the kindest soul I've ever known.
