Loretta Shifflett Obituary
Loretta Ann Shifflett, 61, of Stanardsville Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010.
She was born on May 8, 1949, the daughter of Sylvia Shirley Lawson Mallory and the late Davis Franklin Mallory.
Loretta was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bernard and Cora Mallory; and maternal grandparents, Everett and Lannie Lawson.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Andrysczyk and her husband, Brad, of Ruckersville; two brothers, Thomas Mallory and his wife, Goldie, of Dyke and M.D. Mallory and his fiancee, Wanda Shelton, of Dyke; two grandchildren, Andrew Andrysczyk of Ruckersville and Alexandria Cyrus and her husband, Lucas, of Great Mills Maryland; two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Benjamin Cyrus; two nephews, Thomas Wayne Mallory and his wife, Sandy, of Dyke and Clinton Mallory of Fredericksburg Virginia; best friend since high school, Florence Dorrier; and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2010, at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church with the Reverend Wayne Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dyke.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Ryan Funeral Home.
Ryan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Family of Loretta,
I am so sorry that you have lost a most wonderful family member. Loretta was a beautiful person, always had a smile and a hug whenever I saw her! I know you will miss her very much. Just remember she is "healed" now and in His Loving Arms! May God Bless You All.
