Mary Truslow Davis NELLYSFORD

Mary Truslow Davis, 83, of Nellysford, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

She was born on March 31, 1926, in Nellysford, a daughter of the late William R. and Melinda Puckett Truslow.

She was a member of Wintergreen Christian Church and enjoyed being a part of the Senior Citizens Group at the Rockfish Community Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bruce C. Davis on March 13, 2007; and two sisters, Yvonne Toms and Alice Carter.

Survivors include one son, Gary S. Small and his wife, Marilyn, of Nellysford; a sister, Annie Patrick of Lovingston; two brothers, Herbert Truslow and his wife, Polly, of Nellysford, and Martin S. "Buddy" Truslow and his wife, Gracie, of Waynesboro. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Samantha Mader and her husband Matt, Nicole Garrison and her husband Chris, Tracy Small, Scott and Chris Fisher and 10 great- grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no viewing or visitation.

A graveside side will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009, at the Wintergreen Church Cemetery with Pastor Matt Coiner officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA, 23060.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
