Tony Brent Haney

Tony Brent Haney, 40, of Schuyler, died on Monday, January 11, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

He was born on April 17, 1969, a son of Nancy Claudine (Scruggs) Haney of Schuyler and the late Basil Churchill Haney.

Mr. Haney was a heavy equipment operator with Martin and Horn. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Silver Leaf Hunt Club.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Jeffrey Haney of Earlysville; two sisters, Lynn Breeden and her husband, Tommy, and Amy Patterson and her husband, David, all of Scottsville; an aunt, Ann Morris and her husband, Delmar, of Keswick; four nieces, Jessi and Jamie Haney, Kim and April Breeden; three nephews, Stephen, Justin and Kevin Patterson; two great-nieces, McKenzie and Tranquility; and special friends John, Mike, and Scott Woodson, Clarence Collier, Yerby "Lucky" Oesterheld, Donald Mowbray and Hank Snow.

Please join his family and co-workers in a celebration of his life to be held at Martin and Horn Incorporated, 210 Carlton Road in Charlottesville, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010.
