Dr. Wallace M. Forloines Dr. Wallace M. Forloines, 75, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010, at his residence in Midlothian, Virginia.

Dr. Forloines was born on August 11, 1935, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to the late Grover W. and Helen Wood Forloines. His first wife, Alice Wood Forloines and a brother, Grover Thomas Forloines, also preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of the University of Virginia and the MCV Medical School. He was a proud Cavalier, avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, card player, world traveler and a voracious reader. He served in the United States Air Force in Okinawa and during the Vietnam conflict.

He was a longtime member of Hinton Avenue United Methodist Church. He retired as a dentist and was a real estate investor.

Dr. Forloines is survived by his wife, Ann M. Forloines; a son, G. Michael Forloines; a daughter, Connie Forloines Fox, both of Crozet; his stepmother, Alice Harmon Forloines of Midlothian; a stepdaughter, Wendy Real of Midlothian; and two stepsons, Dan Olsen and his wife, Debbie, of Lewiston, Idaho, and Dennis Olsen and his wife, Maria, of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Brian and Katie Fox, Helen, Ariel and Macon Forloines, Patrick and Savannah Real, Tyler Robinett and her husband, Matthew, Lexie Olsen, Rachael and Cassidy Fike, and Katelyn and Nicholas Olsen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family extends a special thanks to brother-in-law, Dr. Robert Willoughby and sister-in-law, Joan Willoughby of Avon, Colorado, for their help, care and compassion during his last weeks.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at Hinton Avenue United Methodist Church, 750 Hinton Avenue, Charlottesville, VA 22902 with the Reverend Steven Constable officiating. Interment will follow at Monticello Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Hill and Wood Funeral Service, 201 North First Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Senior Connections, 24 East Cary Street, Richmond, VA 23219 or Alzheimer's Association of Greater Richmond, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or Hinton Avenue United Methodist Church.

The family expresses their thanks to the staff at AseraCare/ Hospice of Richmond for their care and support.

you and we exchanged e-mails. Stuart got
sick after that and he passed away on

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Wally... We grew up together in Belmont. back in those days I lived at the Forlonies home meaning sleep over, eating and having fun.
We are the same age and we both went to school together
The Forlonies family was so nice to me.
