Bill,
I miss you so much. I cannot even find the right words to express how much I really do miss you. I so miss our almost daily emails. I still look for them. I thank God every single day for October 2008. I have wonderful memories of that day and also have beautiful memories of us growing up. I know you are in my heart where you will always stay. I miss my "big" brother and think of you all the time. Until we meet again Bill. I LOVE U, danette

After sitting with mom and talking about you all night long I have come up with a poem that says mom's words all the way!!!!

Dear Bill,
You were the first to become my brother
In all the right ways you werer different like no other;
you may hae left our lives, but you'll never leave our hearts; instead you're right here next to us, never to dr5ift apart; My mind is full with wonderful memories they come everyday; like how you use to inspire me watching you in your high school plays. We loved hearing your graphic wiftty jokes brought out on a fly; which left us laughing till the tears rolled down our eyes; Even bad memories have transformed to cherishable; like the day you broke your le during Dad's superbowl.. Remember the time you had that "true brother to sister" talk with me?? I'll never forget how you opened my eyes to actually see. Bill, you were the strong one which branched out and kept us going. We loved you5r unconditional love which you never stopped showintg; I guess what I am trying to say is you are as special as the completion of the universe on day #7. Untill next time when you are waiting at the gate4s to let US into heaven... written by: Justin Thomas

Found this and thought it was awesome and wanted to post it!!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Bill, I miss my emailin' buddy! We don't understand why you had to be taken away from all of us so soon, but I have comfort in knowing that you are in heaven...a much better place than here on earth!

Bill,
If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane,
I would walk all the way to Heaaven, to bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye.
You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why.
My heart aches in sadness, and secret tears will flow.
What is meant to lose you, no one will ever know.
I love you Bill and miss you so very much. Until we meet again. Love you!!

He Marched to the Beat of a Different Drum

He was loved by all – idolized by some
He marched to the beat of a different drum
He’d bark like a seal when he entered the room
He’d have us all laughing before he was through

His artistic talent helped him succeed
He could make a flower from a weed
The “Flower Man” he answered to
And to his passion he stayed true

He spent much of his life in the sunshine state
And lived near the Cavaliers as of late
Born a Pensyl in Bedford P-A
A ham in the band or a high school play

A brother to five – a son to two
A friend to everyone he knew
Proceeded by elders to the Pearly Gates
A reunion for he could hardly wait

Now heaven looks more like a picture from a movie
The flowers are perfected and everyone is groovy
He’s at peace now as his new life begins
And he knows that we’ll all be together again

Now closer to God we will miss him so
To us, this seemed quite too soon to go
We’ll reunite in heaven when that special day comes
And we’ll march to the beat of our different drums

I am saddened after hearing the news about Bill's passing. I went to school with Bill from Bedford Elementary to Bedford High School. Every memory I have of Bill is full of laughter and fun times. Things wouldn't have been the same without Bill in my classes as well as band, chorus and the musicals. He was so gifted and talented. My biggest regret is that we haven't kept in touch throughout the years. My thoughts and prayes are with the family. May the many happy memories bring you comfort.
