Doris Gall Obituary

Gall, Doris F. Doris F. Gall passed away peacefully August 7, 2011 at Medical City, Dallas after a lengthy illness. She was born October 12, 1930 in Collin County, TX to Harvey and Audra (Recer) Langley. A lifelong resident of Dallas, Doris was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother Doyle Langley and husband, Edward J. Gall. She is survived by her son, Joe Gall of Dallas; daughter, Tanya Zollicoffer Mounger of Dallas; grandson, Casey Mounger of Van Alstyne; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Cash Houpt of Nocona and brother and sister-in-law, Ashley and Cecilia Langley also of Nocona. Also surviving her are her nieces, Michelle Nichols, Lori Gray, Tana Langley and nephew, Sonny Don Langley; aunts, Bettye Derden and Lou Ella Anderson. Doris was a resident of Preston Tower since 1979 where she leaves behind a host of dear friends. Doris was known for her loving and generous spirit. She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, TX with Bro. Jerry Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery, Lowry's Crossing, TX. The family will receive guests during a visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. At the funeral home. In lieu of flowers make donations to the Skillman Church of Christ, 3014 Skillman St.

Joe and Tonya, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I loved your Mother and we had so many great times together. I will miss her so much. She was a beautiful lady with a big heart and incredible smile. Peace be with you, sweet Doris.
