To Stanley's Family - I knew Stanley from when he worked at Morning Pride. He was a very sweet guy. He had many friends there. We missed him when he left. He did call me once when he was in the hospital so I could tell everyone there (I was HR). My prayers and thoughts are with you all. At least he is not in pain any more.

Hello Stanley, I just saw this and I am sad. I am sad that I did not get a chance to say Good Bye. I am sad that the last conversation we had was not pleasant. I told you I was moving and you got upset. I asked you to come with me but you had your sports and other involvements. I had to go. I had to. I moved away, but I came back. I returned. I looked for you. I have been looking for you for about 5 solid years. I asked people where you were. I looked for you in all the places I remembered that we would go. I went to MVH to see if you were still playing basketball. I went to the restaurants where we would dine, I went to the apartment where you lived, I went to the park that we used to go to talk, to laugh, to cry, to pray about the good and the bad things that happened to us in life. I looked. I looked at everyone rolling hoping they would be you.

Stanley, I am so sorry I did not find you in time. I looked everywhere, but not ever did I think you would be in another State. But then I had not ever thought I would find you here. I am sorry that I was a day late, and my heart aches because of it. I miss you, my friend. I will not ever stop thinking of you. I would imagine that you probably looked like the Incredible Hulk by now, not ever wanting to take rides, always so independent. Did you ever get a power wheeler...? I cannot believe you are gone.

Remember the time that I came to pick you up and you told me you were taking me out…that you were driving? I went along with this craziness and got on your wheeler. I was doing okay until you decided to do some silly court maneuver and almost tossed me off, you laughed thinking that it was funny and really I did too. Man, we had some fun times.
I pray that you had the chance to experience the peace that you used to tell me you so desperately wanted. I pray that the happy heart you wanted you had. I pray that if not in this life, in your next life you have it all abundantly.

Have all the happiness you want Stan, let your heart be full of peace, take time to laugh loudly, it is finally okay.

I love you Stanley and I will miss you eternally. Be at peace my friend.
