Athens

Funeral service for Lois Flannagan Chambers Scroggins will be Friday, February 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Mike Lovell officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.

Lois was born September 28, 1929, in Limestone County to Marvin Flannagan and Carrie Coffman Flannagan.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Chambers and Barry Chambers, both of Athens; one stepson, Malon Chambers, of Athens; two daughters, Sharon Smith, of Decatur and Terry Lee Marie, of Athens; one stepdaughter, Shirley Rucker and husband, Glen, of Elkmont; one brother, Johnny Flannagan and wife, Linda, of Winterhaven, FL; three sisters, Mary Ellen, Evelyn, and Elizabeth, all of Decatur; four grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Chris Chambers; one grandson, Thomas Chambers; and one stepson, James Chambers.
