James Bound Obituary

Graveside service for James Frederick Bound, 82, of Decatur will be Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Hasting Cemetery in Ardmore with the Rev. Mitchell McCormick officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Vistiation will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Bound, who died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital, was born July 23, 1927, in Okmulgee, Okla., to John and Ila Mae Estep Bound. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was retired from the International Brotherhood of Electricians. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ardmore, Tenn. His wife, Helen Bound, and three brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, James F. Bound Jr. of Decatur; daughter, Sonya Bound Todd of Athens; sister, Wanda Hill of New Mexico; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Todd, Jeremy Bound, Luke Bound, Brian Todd, Brent Todd and Nick Bound.

Honey was one of the sweetest men I have ever known. I loved Him and Helen from the day i met them. My heart is crying but I am also happy because they are together again.
