Fermin Nevarez Obituary

Fermin Gonzalez Nevarez, 93, a resident of Deming, NM, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in El Paso, TX.
Fermin was born in July 20, 1919 in Durango, Mexico to Isabel Nevarez and Francisca Gonzalez.
He was survived his loving daughter, Isabel Nevarez and her fiancé Ernesto Valenzuela of Deming, NM; five step-children, Joe Sargent, Harriett Sanchez, Curtis Rogers, Josephine Hoxsey and her companion Don Walsh, Jeanine Scherbarth and her husband Ronnie; three siblings, eighteen grandchildren and sixty great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, seven siblings, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Rosary will be today, Friday, August 17, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., with Carmen Terrazas officiating at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. The funeral service will then begin at 10 a.m., with father Robert Becerra. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.

Dear Isabel & Family,
I am out of town, but check the Deming Newspaper and learned of your Dad's passing. I remember the years he worked for my Grand-father at the Hog Ranch. He was a good man, an honest and "hard working" gentlemen. My deepest condolences to the family.
