Dear Phyllis, Martha and Jeffrey,
I have the fondest memories of Jim and his love for his family will touch you forever...His work with the Lord is beginning. I am praying for you.

November 21, 2010

Dear Phyllis and Family,
Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Jim was a fine man and a very loyal shipmate. He was always the picture of patience and understanding. Over three tours, I was always glad that Jim was there. Glad we had the opportunity to see Jim at the Gator Joinup. We missed the service since we were out of town. A memorial has been made to the American Cancer Society.

Phyllis, Ron and family,

Please accept my deepest condolences in your loss. Commander Adams' service to his country is most appreciated. May the Lord be with you all and comfort you with His presence during this difficult time.

Phyllis and family, No words can express the feelings of loss and pain you are experiencing; may God help you now and into the future. Jim was a great friend and a trusted mentor during our Navy days together. He was a stickler for detail and concerned for helping all to do the best they could and to make things right. He helped during a tough time in the early days of USS WHIDBEY ISLAND make it through its first OPPE. As a friend noted, Jim could spot a burned out light bulb from three compartments away. He was always trying to be a bright light for others to see and follow; his light will always shine in our hearts and minds. God Bless, Bill & Lyn Ungvarsky (VA Beach)
