A shby, William F. of Niwot, CO passed away on September 5, 2010 in Denver, CO. On October 8, 1922, William was born in Winston-Salem, NC to James Ashby and Charlotte (Lottie) White. William received his B.S. from West Point in 1946 and became an Investment Advisor. He married Nancy Schwarz and was an active member of the Rotary Club and the Elks. William also enjoyed golfing, hunting and flying. William is survived by his children, Emily Gordon and David Ashby; brother, George Ashby; grandchildren, Charley, Grant and Dain Gordon. Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; siblings, Ann and James; as well as his parents. A Funeral Service will be held at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 S. Colorado Boulevard, Littleton, CO on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 10:00am. For additional information and to leave condolences, please visit www.cristmortuary.com.
