Cleo Norris Obituary

Cleo Norris, 92, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Arlington Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, North Central Texas, 101 Summit Ave., Suite 300, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Cleo was born in Rhome on Aug. 18, 1919, to Arthur J. and Meda Simmons. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Arlington. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim Norris. Survivors: Children, Donn Seely and wife, Doris, of Fort Worth and Bob Seely of Justin; stepson, Joel Norris and wife, Lillie, of Missouri; brother, Woodie Simmons of Kemp; sisters, Cora Stevens of Arlington and Jeanette Newton and husband, J.R., of Arlington; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
