Faye "Aldeene" Lauer

LAUER Faye "Aldeene" Lauer, age 87 of Dublin, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012. Aldeene was born and raised in Columbus, daughter of the late John T. and Mary Ethel Ulery. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Lauer, four brothers and three sisters. Aldeene was a very nurturing woman who loved nothing more than taking care of her family. Being a wife, mother, and especially grandmother and great grandmother was what she cherished most. Aldeene always liked to have a good time no matter what she was doing. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and American Legion. She also was a tremendous sports fan favoring OSU and the Cleveland Indians and Browns. In addition, Aldeene enjoyed cooking for her family, crocheting, crossword puzzles, gardening, and reading. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Margaret Ann (Gene) Kinzer; grandchildren, Pamela (Roy) Holland, Bryan (Jason Vo) Yuris, Christina Kinzer, and Wendi (Kevin) Robinson; great grandchildren, Melissa Holland, Cameron Sadilek and Tyler and Mara Robinson; siblings, Brownee (Gene) Sloyer and Paul (Marilyn) Ulery; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., where family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service.
