Johnnie Watson Raby

Johnnie Watson Raby, age 85 of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lynchburg on September 4, 1930 to the late Georgia Gill and Elsie Phelps Raby. Mr. Raby served in the United States Army before working as a Railroad Agent at Southern Railroad. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Ann Raby. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Spencer Raby; daughter, Sherri (John) Anderson of Murfreesboro;… granddaughter, Heather Magee of Chattanooga; sisters, Anna Jewell Hale of Tullahoma, June Warren of Shelbyville, Wanda (Larry) Burns of Lynchburg; brother, Max (Cathy) Raby of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 5-8 PM Saturday at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services was conducted at 1:30 PM Sunday, December 27, 2015 in the Jennings-Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
