my sister touched many hearts even though she could be a brat and all that we just sometimes have to take them for who they are because we all have are own personality's we don't want to be some other person's personality so my sister had a nice and soothing personality and we ever she would get mad she would stick her tongue out and my mom and i would always say a big fat bird i going to come and poop a big one on your lip and it would sometimes make her laugh and sometimes if you say don't smile, don't smile and she would look at you and smile and she probably say in her head haha i smiled!i love my sister so much your jaws will drop on the ground!!!!!!!!

ALYSSA CAAME INTO MY LIFE,
ONE COLD DECEMBER AFTERNOON.
I DIDN'T KNOW I WOULD HAVE
SUCH OVERWHELMING FEELINGS.
I THOUGHT MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THIS,
AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BURST WITH LOVE,
FOR THIS LITTLE CHILD.
MY FIRST GRANDDAUGHTER.
THEN ON A HOT JUNE AFTERNOON,
WHEN SHE WAS ONLY SIX AND A HALF.
I HEARD THE DOCTOR SAY,
SHE HAD A DISEASE.
A DISEASE THAT WOULD ONE DAY,
TAKE HER LIFE.
AND I THOUGHT TO MYSELF,
THIS CAN NOT BE.
AND MY KNEES STARTED TO BUCKLE.
THEN ON A COLD NOVEMBER NIGHT.
THEY TOOK THE TUBE AWAY.
AND AS I HEARD HER LAST BREATHE,
I FELT MY HEART SHATTER,
INTO A BILLION PIECES.
I REACHED TO KISS HER ONE LAST TIME.
GOOD-BYE, I CRIED IN MY HEART.
TO MY FIRST GRANDDAUGHTER.

Amanda,
I love reading the things you write. I know how you much you miss Alyssa. She taught us all so much. I know that I love and miss her alot. Somedays are so hard. But I know she's in Jehovah's memory and that helps me get through.
I love and miss you alot. Hope all is going well for you.
Remember Jesus loves you and pray to God to help you. He is there for you, just talk to Him, He loves you very much.

Little Angels
When God calls little children
To dwell with Him above,
We mortal sometimes question
The wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with
The death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
The aged to His fold
So he picks a rosebud
Before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, And so takes but few
To make the land of heaven
More beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
Still somehow we must try
The saddest word mankind knows
Will always be "Goodbye"
So when a little child departs,
We who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find.
I miss you lulabelle!

Stephanie & Amanda,
Today is the first day of a new year for you to start together. I know this day will be hard for you as you won't have Alyssa. But you have each other and you're both strong. Miss, Alyssa, but hold on tight to each other.
Stef, look toward Amanda, be there for her. She needs you. As a mother who lost her son I know the pain you have. Dig deep for Amanda needs you to be her mom. To be strong for her. She's just a little girl. Sometimes as a mother you have to put your self aside and look at her and her needs. A time to be selfless.
Amanda you're just a little girl. You don't have to be strong for your mom. Nor do you need to take care of her. But try to be kinder to her. Love her and give her lots of hugs. Do what you know is right.
Both of you need each other, so hold on tight. Life as we all know is to short.
Alyssa is safe in GODS memory. NO more pain, no more disease. So try to celebrate her life. We are all the better for knowing and loving her. She gave us all unconditional love. Something we all need to learn to do. So let's all try to be more like her.
SMILE IN THIS NEW YEAR IN ALYSSAS MEMORY.

Shephanie and Amanda- I will always remember your sweet Alyssa.
She touched my heart and added to my life. I had many students during my teaching career- Alyssa was just so special.
When I think of Junie B., I think of Alyssa. She loved Junie B. books and just couldn't seem to get enough of them in the 5th grade.
When she came to school at Northside, it seemed like it was her calling to keep us all smiling. How could we not smile when we saw that beautiful smile of hers? Everyone loved Alyssa.
She told me several times her birthday was right after Christmas. Happy Birthday, sweet girl!
I have your picture on my bulletin board where I can see it every day. Thank you for being such a wonderful example to us all.

I was saddened to see that Alyssa had passed away. I too remember her smile!!! I was a teacher at Northside for several years and Alyssa used to come into my classroom alot (rm 30/31). I have thought of her often after leaving Northside. Looking at the comments that preceed mine, I see she continued to touch many lives after she left Northside! She was such a joy. Remember to thank God for the time he gave her to be in your ... and our...lives!

Alyssa was such a beautiful child. I am especially thankful to have been around her the short time I knew her. She was always nice and pleasant. Her memory is resting with the great creator Jehovah God and he will resurrect her in his time. Right now we just need to know that she is in a safe place, much like a baby in the womb of its mother, just awaiting the day when she will be welcomed back, happy and health with a beautiful future in the new order of things. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. As always, Don and Bea Merrill

Alyssa is one little girl that I will never forget, I've never seen a child smile so often, and also make everyone else around her smile. I remember one summer babysitting her and I would always try to help her walk, but she was always determined to do it on her own. I remember giving her piggy back rides out to my trampoline and holding her hand and jumping with her, every time she would fall she would get right back up. She never gave up, she was such a little fighter. ~ Stephanie you were such a Good mother to Alyssa, nobody could have done a better job than you. I know this is such a hard time, but just know that so many people care and are here for you. If you ever need anything at all, please dont hesitate to call or come by. Alyssa will be missed by so many people, seeing all the people that showed up on Saturday just shows how many friends she had. You and your family are in my prayers!! Keep your chin up because one day you will see your little girl again!!
Love always,

We love all of you very much. We're here for all of you. We know how hard this is and how much you all love Alyssa.
Alyssa was our sunshine. She taught us so much. Better to smile, than frown. Grandpa always was helping her to walk. He never wanted to give up. Having to say good-bye was so very hard. She lit up the world we all live in. She taught us what love is. And the making of memories. For we all have tons of them. Her smile will live on for all that had the privilige of knowing her.

Alyssa has touched our lives beyond words could possibly say. We are all better people for knowing her. I thank god that he sent us all on a path to be friends, we feel like family! I am not looking forward to not having her with us. It is so hard for Steph and Amanda to come over and Lyssie not being on Stephs back with a big smile! The only thing getting me through is knowing that Lyssie is home with god, walking, talking, and eating ribs! She would always get so mad at me if I couldn't understand her, then we would say something funny, and laugh. I just would love for her to get get mad at me one more time, and then laugh. We will miss you so much lyss! We will see you again one day. Steph and Amanda, all you have to do is call. The Campbell Family

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

We wanted to send our most sincere condolences in this time of loss. Deb, Mistique, Kayleena and I all trully appreciated and loved that we where able to get to know and care for Alyssa. Her amazing smile will forever be in our memories.
I wanted to share the following it was given to me in a time of loss and it touched my heart and hope it brings you some comfort in the tender times ahead.
When I come to the end of the day. And the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long,
And not with your head held low.
Remember the love we once shared.
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds---
Miss me but let me go....
