Norman Ludwig Obituary

Norman (Pete) Edward Ludwig, 1928 - 2008. Born September 1928 to Edward and Emily Ludwig in Idaho Springs, Colorado and died May 22, 2008, in Pahrump, Nevada. Survivors from a previous marriage include wife Bonnie Ludwig; daughters Rita Schilling, Kathy Diggs; sons Leland Ludwig and Lawrence Ludwig; grandson Jason Waggener; step daughters Sharon Burmeister and Tammy Fulps. He was preceded in death by his wife Caroline, his grand daughter Jennifer April Bracken, his sister Irene Pope and brother Charles Payton.

Pete served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Engine Machinist. He was a past representative for US Congressman Barbara Vocanovich State of Nevada in Elko. Pete was in the mining business for over 40 years and was considered one of the best
metallurgists in Elko County. Pete drove school bus for the Elko County School District for over 10 years. A celebration of his life was held on May 29, 2008 at the First Southern Baptist Church located at 741 Fehrs Way Pahrump, NV.
