Paul was the very best dancer in high school and beyond. I loved Paul as a good wonderful friend. I still think of the last time I saw him and of all the times before. I look forward to meeting up with him again. Maybe we can share a dance to music by Elvis and others who have gone on.

Dad, I miss you so very much. I have come across simple things around here and realize that I don't have you to call and talk to no more. I know where you are and that kinda helps, but still a bit hard headed that you're really gone. I will make you proud. I love you daddy.

Here was a man who was respected and loved by so many - his friends from Farmington High School will never forget Paul Varnell - he was a hero to so many. I, along with many others from the class of '51, loved his smile, his good nature, his kindness and his heart. He will be sorely missed. We will meet again, dear friend. Thank you, Bonnie, for taking care of, and loving, this dear man for these last many years.

I have only wonderful memories of my Uncle Paul. When our family had a need he was there. He never knew the word "NO" that I remember. He showed love for us all and if you ever needed advice he was the one you could trust!!! God Blessed our family over and over having him as an Uncle. We will miss him but he is in our hearts forever and we know we will see him again someday!!! Rest in peace Dearest Uncle, I love you with all my heart!!!
